This message should have come to you from LogiMAT, where Forkliftaction would be attending for the first time.
The cancellation of a materials handling trade show is unprecedented, and many exhibitors are out of pocket financially and uncertain what compensation they're due. A few lucky ones have insurance cover - and, no doubt, many more have learned from this experience and will be more risk-sensitive in future.
For our part, we launched a "virtual online trade show" last week, where exhibitors were able to share some of the information they would have distributed in Stuttgart.
This week, we report on some of the cancellation reaction and include more coverage of what visitors might have seen had the event gone ahead.
