This week, our thoughts go out to the people of Houston and surrounds, devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
As an armada of volunteers takes to the flooded streets to help the people affected by the disaster, the materials handling community is also throwing its weight behind the efforts.
We report on one initiative in this newsletter: the American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN) which has rallied to muster support for victims of last week's flooding in Texas.
No doubt, in coming weeks, we'll hear about contributions by individual companies, if past experience is any indicator. When disaster has struck previously, we have seen manufacturers, distributors and dealers give generously, providing equipment, expertise and donations to help victims.
If you can help, please support one of the established programs to make sure your contribution counts.

After advertising with Forkliftaction.com, we got many enquiries regarding interest to be our distributor. Mostly from Europe and USA but including a few in ASEAN. We feel that the advertisement was useful and good for market expansion.
