Anyone who anticipated that the economic slowdown would stifle innovation would struggle to explain the stream of new products in the materials handling sector. We continue to write about equipment enhancements in our Product News items which remain a regular feature of this newsletter, and we're not short of input.
One trend we are observing, interestingly, is the move toward more efficient equipment - whether it be fuel economy, agility for tight spaces, improved safety or simply the capability to do more with less.
So it looks like the tough times have encouraged manufacturers to work even harder to bring innovation to the market.
