Easter is a time for contemplation, and goodness knows, the forklift industry has plenty to contemplate. Since last Easter, we have seen natural disasters, political upheaval and sky-rocketing oil prices. We've also seen signs of recovery in the global forklift markets - some growing much faster than others. But recent events have reminded us of the human face of the industry - whether it's forklift companies rallying to assist in earthquake recoveries or factories wiped out in tsunamis. So, it's appropriate that we contemplate our industry and our contribution to society at this time of the year. And if forklifts seem far removed from the real message of Easter, they're no more so than fluffy bunnies or chocolate eggs. So, with that in mind, happy Easter.
