2010 begins on a positive note, with reports of expansion and growth in various markets. But, as usual, analysts caution us not to read too much into early successes. In fact, UK industry observer Plimsoll warns that dangers still lurk, especially for those companies which did whatever it took to get through the tough times. Some of the "growth at any cost" activity will come home to roost and Plimsoll predicts that many firms will be in trouble - and forced to cut jobs. It looks like another interesting year ahead ....
