As the end of the year approaches rapidly, there's no doubt that the forklift industry is in a better position than it was 12 months ago. Yes, there have been casualties. And there will probably be more. But for those businesses which have survived the worst economic crisis in living memory, the tough times have probably taught lessons that won't be forgotten. The lessons include improved efficiency, lean operations and the need to be totally in tune with your market, and many organisations have come through with flying colours and great prospects for the year ahead.
