Sorry for the delay in this week’s news, but for the first time in Forkliftaction’s history, our operations were halted by a failure of the operating system on our dedicated server.

Our business has grown and thrived in the online environment, but the flip side of e-commerce is your dependence on your computer systems, databases and connection to the Internet. When those are jeopardised, as so many of you witnessed first-hand during the recent CrowdStrike outage, business grinds to a halt.

The good news is that our technical woes were not the result of any nefarious activity – and the dedicated efforts of our programming team have restored our system and got us back in action.

Thanks to all of the Forkliftaction team for their flexibility and dedication during this very difficult period – and to our readers and advertisers for their patience.
