At Pack Expo in Las Vega, OTTO Motors unveiled its new heavy-duty autonomous mobile robots for tight spaces. Meanwhile, in Germany Yanmar Compact Equipment launched two new compact wheeled loaders, which can both be fitted with forks.

The rapid pace of technological developments means new models hitting the market are smaller, faster and stronger than ever before.

With companies like Australian warehouse automation software company dereOida on the case, materials handling equipment is also becoming smarter.
