The movers and shakers of the materials handling sector will be focused on Australia next week, as Sydney hosts CeMAT Australia.

The exhibition will showcase leading technology and service providers in intralogistics, robotics and automation, warehousing, supply chain management and materials handling.

It won’t be all work and no play, however. CeMAT Australia is presenting the first-ever Australian Forklift Championships, sponsored by Hyundai Forklifts Australia and Dexion, with yours truly, Forkliftaction, the official media partner.

Cash, prizes and bragging rights will be on the line in the two competition categories, counterbalance and reach truck.

Here's hoping everyone involved in CeMAT has a great - and productive - time at the event.

Our editor-at-large Allan Leibowitz will be there to catch all the news for our 3 August edition.
