Almost two years after the greatest global upheaval of our times, it looks like the economy is back on track. Most markets are experiencing strong demand, industrial growth is being recorded in almost all markets, unemployment is falling, and world trade is almost back to pre-pandemic levels.
Health experts are generally upbeat with vaccination progressing in most countries.
The only real concerns at this stage are supply chain challenges and the threat of rising inflation - both of which are clear in the financial reports of the major materials handling manufacturers.
There's no doubt that we're heading to the end of the year in a much better state than we began it.
