Hubtex has introduced a number of new functions to the vehicle series released in 2016. These functions include three driving modes which can be changed while in motion as well as an integrated assistance system to enhance stability.

Low energy consumption is today a key aspect when choosing a suitable forklift truck for handling long loads. This is why Hubtex has integrated additional improvements into the successful DQ-X series. Depending on their needs, operators are now able to switch between three driving modes - Eco, Sensitive and Speed - while in motion. This helps to reduce emissions and lower fuel consumption. The stabilisation system Hubtex has integrated into the DQ-X series is also innovative and the first such system to be used in a three-wheel fourway sideloader. If the driver brakes suddenly, the integrated stabilisation assistance system prevents the vehicle from rolling to one side/prevents vehicle roll. An additional first for this class of vehicle is the intelligent control system which automatically activates the parking brake when changing direction or when the vehicle comes to a halt.

The new DQ-X offers the best-possible all-round visibility and ergonomics for drivers.

Optimised visibility
In addition to the innovative control system, the DQ-X also offers additional technical improvements such as its highly ergonomic driver cabin and the best all-round visibility of its class. The latest developments to the vehicle have led to improvements in visibility through the unobstructed lift mast, the compact fork carrier, an additional window behind the driver and the option of tinted windows to prevent glare and reflections. Furthermore, DQ-X boasts a mast damping system that enables precise movements and eliminates vibrations. The patented multidirectional steering and a tight turning circle allow for improved manoeuvrability and an up to 40% reduction in the time it takes to switch drive modes between forward/reverse and sideways, which in turn enables a considerably quicker turnover of goods.

The DQX has an improved manoeuvrability, which results in a quicker turnover of goods.
