Haulotte Group has added three new retailers for the brand in the Africa zone: Sterling Access in South Africa, Promatex OI in Réunion Island and Pie Tnufa in Israel. These new partnerships will enable the African subsidiary to provide better local service support.
By adding Haulotte products to their offering, the three companies will address specific technical needs of their customers. Haulotte says the priority is to ensure a safe environment to work in with excellent equipment.
"Combining our technical know-how with their in-depth market knowledge will improve the customer experience and satisfaction. This illustrates our "glocal" approach: Think Global, Act Local," says Didier Mertens, general manager of Haulotte Africa.
The distributors' staff recently benefited from comprehensive training on Haulotte products and the latest technological innovations.
The companies are equipped with large workshops to carry out diagnostics, repairs and maintenance operations. Fully equipped vehicles also allow on-site servicing.
Ahmed Errouissi, service leader at Haulotte Africa, aims to further develop technicians' skills. "They will soon be experts in operating and maintaining Haulotte's aerial equipment. They will be able to advise customers to ensure an optimised utilisation rate of the machines and thus a better profitability," he says.
Witbank, Gauteng-based Sterling Access sells and hires a wide range of mobile elevated work platforms and telehandlers.
In addition to Witbank, it has a presence in Randburg, Steelpoort and Secunda and also services the Western Cape. Sterling Access will distribute the full Haulotte product range in South Africa through its network of five agencies.
Promatex OI, located at The Salt Pond, is also the exclusive Réunion representative for Jungheinrich and Hyundai forklifts.
Haulotte joins its range of telehandlers, telescopic boom lifts and scissor lifts available for hire and sale.
