Hangcha unveils counterbalance FMR

Chinese forklift manufacturer Hangcha has released a new heavy load counterbalance forklift mobile robot (FMR) to its suite of materials handling products.

Hangcha says the counterbalance FMR has been designed to “transform material handling” with its “new standards” for speed, power and efficiency.

The FMR features a front-wheel drive with rear steering, reaching speeds of up to 3.7 m/s.

It is powered by an 80V platform and a 608Ah battery and can operate for up to 12 hours with the dual-drive wheels capable of speeds of 13 km/h.

Rear steering enables 360° rotation and reduced the turning radius by 40%. Hangcha says the adjustable fork spacing automatically adapts to different pallet sizes and the FMR comes with an option for rubber tyres, allowing use in both internal and external applications.
