Columbia, SC - The 2013 Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition (FCS&EE) theme, "Fuel Cells and Natural Gas: Securing America's Energy Future," has officially been announced for this year's conference to be held in Columbus, Ohio this October.

This year's theme continues to build off the conference's new focus to grow and incorporate an increasing number of mature fielded systems and emerging commercial products. Market penetration and commercial success require not only fuel cell technologies, but infrastructure and fuels, such as natural gas and hydrogen.

"Regions of the U.S., like Ohio, abound in enough natural gas to secure a generation of U.S. energy independence," said Dr. Mark Williams, president of the FCS&EE Board of Directors. "Stationary fuel cells operating on natural gas represent the most efficient distributed generation energy alternative. Fuel cell automobiles running off reformed natural gas are more efficient than natural gas vehicles. Join us in Ohio as we work toward realizing the fuel cell solution."

The annual Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition is the premier international gathering of the Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy industries and their customers and stakeholders. Over a four day span, the conference hosts 1,000+ attendees and features more than 200 presentations from around the world.

The 2013 Seminar will focus on commercialization, research & development, market value propositions, business solutions, and deployments. Presentations will cover utility, residential, vehicle, and portable uses of hydrogen and fuel cells in addition to discussions on the challenges in costs, fuels, storage, reliability, lifetime, and adoptability.

The 2013 Fuel Cell Seminar & Energy Exposition will be held October 21st - October 24th at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, USA. The 2013 conference expands on the mission to advance global energy, environmental, and economic benefits offered by fuel cell and hydrogen technologies. Featured activities will include world class Plenary Sessions and Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Presentation Tracks, Educational Short Courses and Workshops, an Ohio "Industry and Research Facilities Tour," a Ride & Drive event, and two networking receptions!

Online registration is open May 23, 2013 through October 18, 2013, Click Here
