EP dealers mark the sale of 180,000 units worth RMB2.2 billion
While Western countries are analysing the success of the recent Black Friday/Cyber Monday retail booms, China’s EP Equipment is celebrating the success of Asia’s sales equivalent, Double-11 (September 11).
This year, EP's Double-11 event was held as a purely domestic sales event again due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Nonetheless, the manufacturer set a new record, beating last year’s sales of 110,000 units.
EP Equipment dealers in China purchased 180,000 units during the event and showed a strong commitment to the brand and its product line.
Shirley Cheng, EP product marketing specialist, tells Forkliftaction News all models are hot sellers, especially the new EFX821 Li-ion forklift, the EPT20-15ET2 compact pallet truck and the classic ICE series.
The Double-11 sales event was the highlight of a year in which EP Equipment rolled out new models “solving diverse pain points faced by domestic users” and showcased the future of AGVs by presenting a more mature X-Mover Series.
“This technology development has been recognised to be outstanding by the incredible sales record,” Cheng adds.
