A warehouse manager and his forklift have saved the life of a man trapped under a rolled truck.

The Omaha World-Herald said the man became pinned under a tyre when his pickup truck rolled onto him in an Omaha car park, injuring his leg.

Exide Technologies warehouse manager Eric Heiny came to the rescue aboard his propane forklift. Exide's car park was adjacent to the lot where the accident happened.

The pickup was lifted off the man, and he was rushed to Creighton University Medical Centre.
