Fork Force management and staff celebrate a significant milestoneAustralian forklift sales and hire business Fork Force recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with festivities in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to mark the occasion.
Founded by Steve Cunliffe and Adrian Martin in 1999 as Fork Source, a wholesale sub-hire business for the forklift industry importing second-hand forklifts from Japan, the company rebranded as Fork Force and, in 2007, expanded into equipment sales with the launch of its Italian-made Pramac electric walkie stacker range.
By 2010, Fork Force was selling forklifts nationally and launched its own brand, Enforcer, which is now a full range of forklifts and parts.
Over the years, Fork Force has expanded its national footprint from its Brisbane base. It took 13 years to expand to Toowoomba in 2011, followed by a move into Melbourne in 2014, before the acquisition of Hystandard in 2018 saw Fork Force begin its operations in Sydney. The Lencrow acquisition followed soon after in 2019, giving Fork Force additional operational reach into the Adelaide and Newcastle markets, with Perth added in 2024.
In 2017, Japanese rental giant Nishio Rent All joined Fork Force as an investor.
The founders joined with managing director Chris Cunliffe at the celebrations to reflect on their journey and recognise employees and partners who have shown their dedication and commitment to the business.
