The inaugural FLTA-BITA Golf Day at the Warwickshire Golf Club attracted 36 players from the forklift industry.

Following several days of rain, players coped well with the sodden fairways, and the tournament saw some outstanding performances. Most notable was that from Nathan Sheritan of Crown Lift Trucks, who collected not only the Individual Men's prize but also played a major role in steering Crown to victory in the team category.

Other individual winners were Dean Smith of ND Lift Trucks, who took first prize in the Senior Individual category; Dan Bovingdon of Briggs Equipment, who produced the Longest Drive. Investec Asset Finance achieved a double success with Andrew Woodward of Investec Asset Finance coming Nearest the Pin and Gill Coupland picking up the Ladies' Individual prize.

The event, held on the 19th June, concluded with a celebration dinner.
