A diversified business certified in various foreign countries stands as Miretti's hallmark on the market - Sole 24 ore, November 2011

Miretti, which is world leader in the sector of explosionproof conversions for electrical and diesel lift trucks, earthmoving machines, fixed systems and fumes depurator systems, is led by the competence and passion of a family team. The enthusiasm of this team is infectious for the whole corporate organisation.

Miretti was founded in 1975 by Piercarlo Miretti, and it is today managed by his daughter Simona and his son Angelo, both managing directors assisted by competent collaborators. "We work for the safety of operators and companies", Simona Miretti begins, "Thanks to the application of our explosionproof solutions, there is no possibility of
explosion triggered by possible sparks and everything we produce is certified by national and international bodies. The fields of application are countless: from surface industries (chemical, pharmaceutical, military, ports and airports, oil&gas, nuclear power plants), to underground industries (tunnels, mines)".

The company is Uni En Iso 2000 / 9001 and Atex certified. It is also in the process of becoming Iso 14001 certified. Miretti carries out on average 550 explosionproof conversions every year, it employs more than 100 people between the Italian headquarters and the foreign subsidiaries (in Germany, France, Netherlands, Hungary, China, and Usa). "When my sister and myself started working for the company", Angelo explains, "we continued the internationalisation process that our father had started with farsightedness. We will soon open another branch in Uk".

With a technical office consisting of a dozen of technicians specialised in electrical and mechanical design, project managers trained at the major Atex certifying institutions, Miretti develops every year on average more than 80 new projects between lift trucks and earthmoving machines. Research in the company is never ending. "Even during periods of economic crisis", Simona Miretti states, "we have never stopped investing in new R&D technologies. Also the after-sales phase plays a key role in the success of Miretti", as Angelo Miretti points out: "We deliver training courses for assistance engineers; we guarantee a periodic check on adapted machines and spare parts are available on stock for 10 years. We also have mobile workshops for assistance off the premises". Besides having created various certified patents, another point of strength of this company from Limbiate is the capacity of working at the same time on numerous personalised projects. "This is because the medium size of our company allows us to be flexible", Simona Miretti underlines.

Miretti's plans for the near future are to continue diversifying production for different fields of application and to expand on new markets: "Always with great passion for this work and sharing the objectives with our team" conclude both managers, Simona and Angelo Miretti.
