Daimay has added 10 EffiBOT robotsAutomotive industry specialist Daimay has added 10 EffiBOT robots to convey parts from its storage area to the multiple production stations.
The French subsidiary of a Chinese industrial group met Effidence at a trade show and after several meetings decided to collaborate with the French company “to promote French know-how and develop together a customised solution for our warehouse”, a Daimay spokesperson explains. “Already equipped with AGVs, we wanted to make our processes more fluid by turning to fully autonomous AMRs.”
Effidence's solution included EffiBOT autonomous mobile robots equipped with a 360 degree gripping system, 3D-CartGRIP.
The 3D-CartGRIP uses Smart 3D-FootPrint technology which guarantees the exact grip of the corresponding trolley. This technology also ensures that the trolley is securely held in place during its movements with a 3D hold (lateral, horizontal and vertical).
"Effidence teams were really present from A to Z to support us in the implementation of the robot fleet,” says a Daimay industrialisation manager responsible for the implementation. “It starts with the commercial contact, to understand the particularity of our process, our needs and our specifications. The design and technical part of the team then takes charge of adapting the robot to match our constraints. After delivery of our solution, we are trained in its installation and use. If necessary, the maintenance team is responsive to our requests and is available to answer our questions and help us.”
