Moisés Villanueva López focused solely on the Clark brand during 45 years in manufacturing and dealership positions, and the extended Clark family has taken notice of his passing at the age of 68.

"Moisés was considered a complete encyclopedia for his deep knowledge of green Clark forklifts (including) every technological improvement," says Mike Guerrero, co-ordinator for international sales and used trucks with Clark Material Handling Co in Lexington, Kentucky. Villanueva devoted his life to his family and "the machines that would become his working universe and his passion".

Villanueva joined Clark in 1965 at the then-new PRIMSA manufacturing facility in Querétaro, México. He was engineering and production manager for nearly two decades until Clark closed the plant.

He moved to the Clark dealership OZMAQ SA de CV in San Luis Potosí in 1984 and functioned as service manager for 25 years.

Villanueva was born on 8 December 1942 and died on 16 May after a two-year battle with cancer.

Survivors include his wife Lolis, a son Moisés, daughters Silvia, Sandra, Edurne and Cristina and several grandchildren.

Hernandez Funerals in San Luis Potosí handled the arrangements.
