Clark Material Handling Asia will this month start marketing its new 3.3-tonne capacity forklift, C33.
The C33 can operate in the same space as a 3.0-tonne model, with the efficiency of a 3.5-tonne model, according to an Asia Pulse report.
Equipped with stronger fork tynes and special chains, the C33 can carry heavier loads, and wider front tyres help it run smoothly. Prices start at about 26 million won (USD20,255).
Clark Material Handling Asia was formed after the Clark Group's buyout of Samsung Heavy Industries' forklift business in the late 1990s. Clark relocated its main production line to Changwon, Korea, in 1998.
