Carrylift Group, one of Europe's largest forklift dealers, has scooped the top award at the recent TCM dealer summit.

The award marked an impressive period of growth for the business which increased sales of new forklifts by 37% over the past year.

Carrylift recently acquired forklift dealership United Forklift Trucks (Forkliftaction.com News #719), increasing the size of the business to 13 depots covering the whole of the UK, making it potentially the largest independent forklift dealer in Europe.

Presenting the award, Thomas Wiklund, European chief executive of forklift manufacturer TCM, said "Carrylift have built an extremely impressive reputation for expert innovation and professional quality over the past few years and have added this latest award for sales growth and business achievement on top of scooping two prestigious trophies at the national Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) Awards."

Carrylift managing director Steven Routledge says the award marks an exceptional year for the company, generating new business in a very competitive market and forging strong relationships with major blue chip customers .

"Along with bringing a new dealership on board, the business is now in a very strong position to offer a compelling offer to customers," he adds.
