BT Rolatruc Ltd has won a seven-year, GBP10 million contract to supply and maintain more than 450 warehouse and counterbalance forklifts for Booker Cash & Carry Ltd.

The forklifts, the first of which will be delivered this month, are Reflex reach trucks, Cargo counterbalance forklifts, and Orion powered pallet trucks. The contract includes a comprehensive service agreement.

Booker Cash & Carry is the UK's largest food wholesaler, with a 34 percent market share. It serves independent caterers and retailers through 177 branches across the UK.

BT Rolatruc, in a statement, said negotiations for the contract began in 2000.
