Omron releases new AMR

Pleasanton, CA, United States

California-based Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies has released its new OL-450S, low-profile, omni-directional autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with a payload capacity of 450kg.

The OL-450S has an integrated lifting plate which Omron says eliminates the need for customisation or toppers and providing a plug-and-play solution compatible with standard and custom racks.

The AMR is equipped with strategically positioned sensors, 360-degree safety coverage and omni-directional drive allowing it to navigate complex layouts, avoiding obstacles and ensuring safe operation.

It also features flexible movement including forward, reverse, and lateral.

PREMIUM business

Cascade Corporation (World HQ)
Leading manufacturers of attachments, forks and related technologies for forklifts and AGVs.

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. You go to Yahoo!, MSN, or maybe AOL, and start the mind-numbing process of finding your very specific needle in the digital haystack. And with web pages loading one image at a time, patience isn’t just a virtue – it’s a requirement!

As clumsy as this early iteration seems now, this technology was the great enabler that allowed Forkliftaction to connect to the industry across the globe.

Words of support …

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
