The Manitou group has been awarded the Equipment and Material prize in the Components and Attachments category at the Intermat Innovation Awards. The accolade recognises the group for its patented machine stabilisation system for the MRT 2470 and MRT 3050 models.
A pioneer in the market of rotating telescopic forklifts, the Manitou group has enjoyed significant success since launching the MRT 2470 and MRT 3050 models.

"Thanks to this new (stabilisation) system, developed and patented by Manitou, handling operations are more precise and safer, which allows our clients to considerably increase their productivity."

Sean Gilbert is honoured by the FLTA

FLTA crowns Safety Champion

The Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) has named Sean Gilbert of 3M Atherstone as its 2017 Safety Champion.
The award recognises those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving site safety for everyone working with or alongside forklifts.
Gilbert, who was previously employed as a forklift driver at the site, joined 3M's Health and Safety Group last year.
By utilising his extensive operator experience, he's significantly improved pedestrian and vehicle safety at the well-established site by proactively engaging staff at all levels in open and honest discussions.
His experience as an operator, coupled with health and safety knowledge gained through studies for a NEBOSH National General Certificate, have enabled Gilbert to support the site's warehouse operations team as the
