CHEP invests in Malaysia
Selangor, MalaysiaCHEP has opened Asia's newest and most advanced pallet service centre in the industrial hub of Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Raja Klang, Malaysia.
Located close to major customers and main arterial roadways, the 126,000 sqft. (11,700 sqm) Bukit Raja site replaces two former CHEP service centres and introduces a number of design and technology features that place it among the most advanced CHEP pallet service centres globally.
The new site has been designed to support an additional 30% increase in future pallet repair volumes and also incorporates CHEP Malaysia's head office and support functions such as customer service.
CHEP Malaysia was established in 1995.

American Crane hosts students
Douglassville, PA, United StatesAmerican Crane and Equipment Corporation recently hosted two groups of local high school students as part of Berk's Business Coalition's Students Interacting with Business program. This program is designed for students to learn about the culture of business and how businesses assess prospective candidates for employment.
The students learned about the operation of equipment, including CNC vertical machine centres, gear hobbers, drum lathes, horizontal boring mills, hydraulic presses and also observed areas designated for sandblasting, painting and material preparation.
The tour, given by American Crane employees, helped students to understand the lifecycle of a crane and other overhead lifting equipment from inception to installation.
