TVH launches mentor program
Olathe, KS, United StatesTVH has launched a mentor program after a pilot in February involving 19 mentors and 19 mentees.
The full program involves 62 participants and the goal of mentoring is to provide a framework where relationships can be developed between experienced TVH employees and new or in-place employees to enhance personal and professional development within the organisation.
Participation in the mentor program is expected to increase in 2016 as awareness and enthusiasm about the program mounts.

Linde announces 2016 event

Linde Material Handling has announced the planned return of its World of Material Handling event next May.
The last event, staged at the same time as CeMAT, attracted around 6,000 guests from over 40 countries.
Christophe Lautray, CSO of Linde Material Handling, says positive feedback from domestic and foreign visitors to WOMH 2014 has "reinforced our decision to stick to this format".
"Next year we want to show our visitors what products and services we have already implemented with regard to Smart Logistics and where this journey could lead us in the future. Offering them the opportunity to get a taste of it all will play an important part in this context."
JCB marks 70 years
Rocester, United KingdomJCB this year marks its 70th anniversary. The company began with its first backhoe in 1953, and has since manufactured more than a million JCB machines on three continents, selling them in 120 countries.
Founded in 1945 by Joseph Cyril Bamford CBE in a small lock-up garage in Staffordshire in the UK, the company first made tipping trailers from wartime scrap metal.
Cyril's son, Anthony (now Lord Bamford), born on the same day the company was founded, is the current chairman of JCB.
In 1975, having turned JCB into a multi-million dollar company with outposts in Europe and the USA, Joseph Cyril retired and handed the reins to his son.
In 1979, JCB started manufacturing in India, heralding a period of global expansion, and today it has factories in New Delhi, Pune and Jaipur.
