Linde innovation honoured

Linde (China) Forklift Corporation has won the 2012 China Logistics Innovation Award at an event held last month.
On 23 November, the 10th China Logistics Entrepreneurs Annual Meeting, organised by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing in Xiamen, presented the award to Linde (China) for improving its business model for management and service.
CEO CP Quek says the firm will "continue to strengthen [its] research and development capabilities and maintain [its] technological leadership in the industry".

Doosan recognised for export growth

Doosan Industrial Vehicle has received a special export award from the Korea International Trade Association in recognition of its exports of over USD200 million in the last financial year.
The award comes a year after the company was restructured, splitting the business away from Doosan Infracore into its own forklift division (Forkliftaction.com News #514), and recognises Doosan's growing presence in overseas markets including Europe, North America and Australia.
Despite challenging market conditions, the company has increased exports, recording more than USD260 million, or USD50 million higher than the previous financial year.
Doosan Industrial Vehicle now operates in over 100 countries, via 360 regional and local dealers.
