The company's UK dealer network will have access to Aldermore-provided contract hire and hire purchase facilities, trading as Doosan Industrial Vehicle Finance.

Cargotec centre reaches rooftop height

Cargotec has held a "topping-out" ceremony for its technology and competence centre in Tampere, Finland.
"The new office building already resembles a straddle carrier, and the colours of the workshop building are similar to those of containers," chief technology officer Matti Sommarberg says.
The modern facilities and test area, close to Tampere University of Technology, will be operational in December.

Forklift maker's donations benefit charity group

Greenville-based Nacco Materials Handling Group Inc has donated USD69,850 to the non-profit United Way of Pitt County charitable organisation.
The forklift manufacturer's brand management director Thom Peeblesand warehouse product sales director Mike Moran presented United Way with a USD6,250 cheque during an East Carolina University baseball game on 15 May. The donation reflected a USD250 pledge for every home run the university's players hit during the season. Earlier donations to United Way were made under partnerships measuring the football and basketball teams' performances at the university in Greenville.
