Objective: Increase efficiency while decreasing labor costs.

It is the million dollar question for many operation managers. How can we increase our efficiency and decrease our labor costs without spending an abundance of cash flow? By installing a Turn@bout Maneuverability Adapter to an ordinary pallet truck you will significantly increase productivity, efficiency and safety. The inexpensive Turn@bout is designed to retro-fit most major pallet trucks and only takes minutes to install. The return on investment starts the moment you have finished installing your Turn@bout.

Using a Turn@bout assisted pallet truck eliminates wasted effort, time, and money.

The Turn@bout adapter significantly changes the performance of the existing pallet truck. The space required to turn a manual pallet truck with a fork length of 1150 mm is 2540 mm. When the same truck is equipped with a Turn@bout the turning radius is decreased to 1540 mm. By equipping a motorized pallet truck with a Turn@bout the turning radius will decrease from 2980 mm to 1800 mm. Turning an empty pallet truck around a corner often requires several attempts because of the pallet truck's wide turning radius. The Turn@bout will increase productivity by decreasing the turning radius required for turning by 72%. The worker operating a pallet truck equipped with a Turn@bout can turn the pallet truck around in a narrow isle entering a pallet positioned behind them. Without a Turn@bout they would be forced to exit a narrow isle to turn the truck around and walk back to the pallet. "We finish products for other manufactures. A lot of our products come in 40' and 45' containers. The Turn@bout® helps us unload quick and easy. It's easy maneuverability make for less work and saves steps. The man hours saved makes the Turn@bout® a great investment" states Arlan Nordin of PodCo a U.S. based company.

Increase safety to the worker.

A Turn@bout assisted pallet truck increases the safety to the pallet truck handler. A pallet truck was designed to handle heavy loads as a result they are difficult to maneuver. A pallet truck uses the load bearing wheels as their turning radius. However, when attempting to turn an empty pallet truck the front wheels drag and make it extremely difficult for the worker to turn the truck. They are forced to use their back and shoulders to position the pallet truck. The Turn@bout eliminates the frustration and extreme wear and tear on the worker. The Turn@bout raises the front wheels of the truck by 6 mm allowing the truck to turn freely on the spot. The Turn@bout is an ideal application for tight areas such as semi trailers. Many truck drivers have suffered back injuries as the result of wrestling their pallet truck in order to turn it around in the confined area of a trailer. The cost incurred from a work related back injury is astronomical not only for the injured worker but for the employer as well. Saving time at every stop is an added benefit of using the Turn@bout in a semi trailer. Maximize your profits. Don't lose money on injured workers or lost time.

Increase your warehouse space.

The cost of real estate can be a burden to many companies. The value of every dollar spent on a warehouse should be maximized in every way possible. By using a Turn@bout assisted pallet truck you will capitalize on every inch of your warehouse. Glen Follett, of Hi-Performance Engineering states that "The Turn@bout® has helped us maintain our 16,000 sq. ft. warehouse space more efficiently. The use of space is of utmost importance and this product, because of its maneuverability in tight areas allows us more flexibility." Glen was able to reposition his racking closer together by using Turn@bout assisted pallet trucks. He gained valuable space for a small investment. Capitalize on your warehouse don't settle for wasted space.
