The host of this year's UKWA Awards for Warehousing presentation ceremony is writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government whip, Gyles Brandreth.

Brandreth is one of Britain's most sought-after award ceremony hosts and after-dinner speakers. He is a reporter on The One Show on BBC1 and a regular on Radio 4's Just a Minute. His many books include The Oscar Wilde Murder Mysteries and the bestseller, The 7 Secrets of Happiness.

UKWA CEO Roger Williams says: "Regulars at our awards events down the years will recall that this is the second time we have chosen Gyles as our host. He was extremely well received the first time - back in 2006 - and we are delighted that he will be joining us again."

The UKWA Awards for Warehousing ceremony will be held at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London, on Wednesday, 2 July 2014 and is expected to attract over 450 UKWA members and guests together with suppliers to the industry.
