Warehousing and logistics hardware solution provider Black Rhino is now the LiBiao Robotics dealer in South Africa.

The Johannesburg-based company will be LiBiao’s South African agent and distribution partner for the Mini Yellow range of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

LiBiao Robotic’s founder and chief executive Xia Huiling says: "Black Rhino’s focus on delivering outstanding customer service matches our own and we are expecting very good results from our new partnership with the company.”

LiBiao’s Mini Yellow robots process an estimated two billion parcels each year for some of the world’s best known logistics companies.

“Demand for more efficient and smarter warehouse management is strong in South Africa, where online shopping has been growing at a tremendous pace and driving up the number of parcels handled,” says Black Rhino general manager Mike Zhang.

“We have an excellent opportunity to grow the AMR market and we plan to allocate extensive resources towards establishing the LiBiao Robotics brand and fulfilling its potential throughout South Africa.”

As well as AMRs, Black Rhino supplies barcode identification technology.
