Jo Baker has resigned from her role as executive manager of the Logistics Association of Australia (LAA), departing in early March to take up another position within the logistics industry.

Baker says she enjoyed her time at LAA Ltd, and looks forward to bringing her experience to bear in her new position.

"The members of the LAA Ltd are a dedicated group of logisticians always working towards the development of the industry and their profession," she notes.

LAA national president Mike Owen says the LAA Ltd has been fortunate to have Baker in the position for nearly eight years. "In her time at LAA Ltd, Jo has helped develop the membership of the association and provide that membership with exceptional professional development products and services.

"We wish Jo every success in the next step of her career, and look forward to appointing a new executive manager who will continue her fine work."

The recruitment process for the replacement position has commenced, with notices being sent out soon.

The LAA claims to be Australia's leading association focused on logistics and supply chain management.
