American Specialty Equipment (ASE) has launched an addition to its Gregory product line, the Rider Counterbalanced Turret Explosion-Proof Forklift (RCTEX).

The RCTEX gives narrow aisle facilities access to high-density explosion-proof materials handling for totes, pallets and drums.

With a lifting capacity of up to 3000 pounds (1.3 tonnes), a lifting height of more than 15 feet (4.5 metres), and the capability to operate in 60-inch (1.5 metre) aisles, the RCTEX can increase warehouse storage space by 25 percent.

The RCTEX's left-right tilting, rotating turret attachment provides unmatched manoeuvrability, says ASE.
