The Australasian Supply Chain & Logistics Association (ASCLA - formerly the SCLAA) will hold its gala dinner at Melbourne Town Hall on Friday, November 14 where the winners of its awards will be named.

The annual awards dinner recognises the outstanding achievements of supply chain and logistics professionals and organisations across Australia. This year marks the 63rd anniversary of the awards dinner.

Steve Thompsett, CEO of DHL Supply Chain ANZ, will deliver the keynote address on the night with international comedy star Jimeoin acting as both MC and entertainment for the evening.

“Renowned for his razor-sharp wit and effortless delivery, Jimeoin’s role as MC promises a fast-paced evening packed with off-the-cuff brilliance and perfectly timed punchlines,” ASCLA states.

“From opening remarks to spontaneous one-liners, this won’t be your standard industry dinner. It’s the supply chain and logistics’ night of nights — with world-class comedy keeping things fresh, sharp, and unforgettable.”

The finalists and winners of each category for the awards are decided by an expert panel of appointed industry judges with a minimum of three judges per category, assessing submissions across areas outlined in the submission criteria for each category. 

Each judge’s individual scores are submitted privately to the chief judge for collation and review. In the case of a tie, a judges meeting may occur to further discuss the applications.
