Ocean freight data and accurate analytics will be discussed during a conference session at Intermodal Europe 2014, which takes place from 11-13 November at the Rotterdam Ahoy.As part of the IT Innovation and Technology Forum, Thomas Sørbø, COO and Co-Founder of Xeneta, will present a technology conference session titled 'Gaining accurate ocean freight analytics' that will look at the analysis of ocean freight data and demonstrate how users can benchmark their ocean freight rates across different trade lanes.
A spokesperson from Alcoa Inc, one of the world's largest producer of aluminium and Xeneta customer will present alongside Thomas Sørbø.
"I will talk about the importance of transparency and visibility in the ocean freight market and give an overview of the product we offer," explains Thomas Sørbø, adding that the speaker from Alcoa will talk about how the company uses the benchmarking tool and the benefits they receive from it.
