The new line of DCA graphic instruments, thought and designed by AMA Instruments for off-highway vehicles, is one of the latest developments that AMA Group presents, focusing to the cabin interior equipment.

Latest generation dashboards giving an high tech look to the cab interior, allowing the operator an easier reading of the machine's functions. These are the top products that AMA Group presents in Hannover on occasion of the most important intralogistics world fair, CEMAT 2008, Hall 25 Stand H04.

The compact universal dashboards belong to the innovative line of DCA graphic instruments, thought and designed by AMA Instruments, an AMA group sister company specialized in study and production of analogical and digital instrumentation. They distinguish themselves for excellent performance and simple use, thanks also to the innovative LCD colour display with LED back light. The DCA range is composed of four versions, which can cover all customers' requirements thanks to different dimensions, visual features and available readings.

The DCA-65 is the top product of the range. Its main features are: high resolution (757 x 420 pixel) and quantity of display colour availability, designed for professional applications but still easy to be used. It allows to exploit to the utmost its hardware and software technology, in order to realize graphic compositions on customer's request. There are many functions on board: watch, 16 digital inputs, 4 universal analogical inputs, 2 fast input for revolution counter and speedometer, 8 Mosfet NPN outputs, 2 relays outputs. With its wide range of power supply (from 10 to 100 Vdc), the DCA-65 can be fitted on all battery circuits. Furthermore it is designed for several additional functions, as for example the input for front-back machine camera, to grant both machine and operator safety.

The DCA-43, with a medium resolution (480 x 272 pixel) and quantity of display colour available (65536), with slightly smaller dimensions (188x103x55 mm) than DCA-65, has anyway, high definition graphic interface, allowing optimal visibility range at high distance and under critical brightness conditions, too. In order to satisfy also the most demanding customers, DCA-43 is equipped with a 16 Mbytes memory, which allows to store a large quantity of symbols and images. The functions on-board are: 14 inputs (4 analogical, 2 analogical in frequency, 8 digital) and 8 Mosfet NPN outputs.

The DCA-25 (the entry level of DCA) has a standard resolution (128 x 64 pixel) granting a simple graphic interface definition to allow multiple instruments and alarm signals combinations: 12 LED lights driven by 12 inputs, 4 digital inputs, 2 analogical inputs to be connected to any sender, 1 analogical input for battery monitoring, 2 fast input for revolution counter and speedometer, 3 outputs at Mosfet NPN driver of 0,5 A 36 Vdc and 1 relays exit 5A 24 Vdc. Despite of its compact size (155x92x57mm) the LCD display with LED Amber backlight grants high visibility range at big distance, too.

The Compattino LCD is the perfect combination between analogical and digital instrumentation and correspond to a very good quality and price ratio, with the advantage of compact dimensions. Its features are very good: LCD 2,8" B/N display with LED yellow/green backlight, 128x64 pixel resolution, 3 analogical universal inputs, feeding from 10 to 30 Vdc.

All the instruments belonging to the DCA line of AMA Instruments offer the possibility to connect up to 2 CAN BUS 2.0 B with speed up to 1MBaud Rate and a LIN connection or in alternative a RS 485 connection. DCA-65 and DCA-43 have a powerful 32 Bit 100Mhz CPU with 2D graphic processor of latest generation, which grants real time readings, avoiding the delayed ones of the traditional systems.
