Alden will supply Xtreme telehandlers |
Alden Equipment has been awarded a five-year contract to supply telehandlers to the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Under the blanket purchase agreement (BPA), Alden will provide Xtreme model XR5919 and model XR1045 telehandlers as well as additional materials handling equipment over the contract term.
"This estimated USD16 million contract is in addition to Alden's GSA contract for materials handling equipment which it has held since 2008 and its three Heavy Equipment Procurement Program contracts, also with the Defense Logistics Agency," says vice president Elwood A. Eisler.
Alden Equipment, Inc. is listed as a prime contractor with DLA.
The dealership was founded in 1979 under the stewardship of John Eisler.
In 1994, as equipment sales outpaced service work, the Alden Equipment identity was adopted.
Today, Alden Equipment sells and services Snorkel, SkyJack, Tailift, Flexi, Navigator, BIG JOE, XTREME Manufacturing, LIFTKING, RIGHTLINE and Cascade equipment.
