Clark MHE owner FiLCO has begun building forklifts, despite only bringing it out of insolvency in May.
FiLCO will produce 1400 units this year and refurbish used Clark forklifts. Half of 2003's production is already sold.
FiLCO will target major rental companies and appoint sales staff in key markets like the UK, France and Spain.
FiLCO will become the most competitive manufacturer of three and four wheel 1.6 ton electric forklifts, and will produce a full line in 2004.
