Ace Distriparks, a subsidiary of Port of Colombo-headquartered Aitken’s Spence Logistics, says it undertook an extensive evaluation process before selecting and purchasing five Cat electric forklifts for its new 100,000 sqm warehouse.

The forklifts were supplied by Sri Lankan distributor Ute with the handover held this week.

The purchase has been described by Sri Lankan media as “a significant advancement for Sri Lanka’s logistics sector”.

Ace Distriparks explains the Cat forklifts were chosen because they believe it is the best fit to support efficient and sustainable warehouse operations.

“These Cat electric forklifts represent far more than just tools,” the Sri Lankan Times quotes Ute CEO Deepthi Hewageegana as saying. “They stand as a testament to our ability to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.”
