Innovation and efficiency have been the cornerstones of Logitrans for over 85 years, during which time the company has developed and distributed products for internal material handling. Now, they are raising the bar once again with their latest product launch – a robot equipped with Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) technology designed to transport pallets from point A to B.

In recent years, Logitrans in Ribe has expanded its business in various areas, including physical expansion with a large production hall, as well as increased turnover, a growing number of employees, and an expanded ownership circle. All signs point toward growth and ambition—just like the launch of their new robotic solution for pallet transport.
Logitrans has spent three years developing an autonomous pallet lifter to meet the growing demand for automating the process of transporting pallets from A to B within e.g. production and warehouse facilities.
"With our quality-assured construction and advanced robot technology, we have a unique combination that places our robot solution among the very best in the market. We are confident that this innovation provides the end customer with the best of both worlds. Our recent nomination for the prestigious IFOY AWARD in Germany confirms us in this," says CEO, Gitte Kirkegaard.
The solution is a collaborative robot (CoBot), meaning it is designed to work safely alongside humans. Its main purpose is to optimize workflows and productivity by automating tasks that do not add value—such as transporting pallets between departments—so that employees can focus on more meaningful and value creating work.
"A robot solution like this saves companies time and increases productivity, as they can use their resources more efficiently and let technology handle routine transport tasks. What makes our product unique is that it is built on our 85 years of experience in constructing high-quality pallet lifters, combined with state-of-the-art and proven robotic software, VSLAM navigation and a Nvidia platform," says CEO, Gitte Kirkegaard.
She adds, "Moreover, it is a technological product that is extremely user-friendly and easy to implement. It is high-tech but not complicated, which provides the customer with a quick return on investment. Within a day, you've got it up and running, creating value from the very start. And that is precisely what we want to communicate to the market."
Robot technology is not new at Logitrans. The company uses robots in various areas of its own production and acquired its first welding robot in 1988, as one of the very first production companies in Denmark. Therefore, robot technology is a natural extension of their product range, which includes ergonomic handling equipment such as pallet lifters, stackers, and high lifters, as well as more complex products for lifting and rotating boxes, crates, drums and barrels.
