Job Responsibilities:

Management: Direct supervision of all Field Service Technicians. Organize people and resources toward the effective and efficient pursuit of predetermined objectives. Hire and maintain the highest quality employees. This includes evaluating, coaching, disciplining and training of employee's who are inspired to be on the team.
Service: Supervision of all shop repair jobs and individual inspection and approval prior to their delivery to insure completeness and accuracy. Quote the customer as necessary and keep them informed of cost overages, delays, additional work, etc. Provide whatever is necessary and appropriate for customer satisfaction, including anticipating required parts and direct projects.
Administrative: Closing work orders in a timely manner. Follow-up past due accounts and assist with service related situations. Approve returns, credits, policy adjustments, etc. Manage departmental expenses and recoveries. Through proper supervision, maintain the cleanliness of the grounds, service shop, steam pad, break room, etc. to maintain a professional looking image and workplace.
Customer Service: Supervision, preparation and pre-delivery of new equipment. Overall supervision of warranty administration, customer PM's for timeliness, completeness, and selling of additional work, etc. Resolve customer complaints and billing problems.
Requirements / Skills
Job Requirements:

Managerial and leadership skills with the ability to inspire others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
Proficient computer skills and basic understanding of departmental budgets.
Working Conditions: Employee is expected to work basic 40-hour week Monday through Friday plus whatever time is required to accomplish goals for the position - which could include weekend coverage. This position is exempt from paid overtime.
