It is a hugely old truck, probably built in the 1950's. It should have a Chrysler IND30 engine. I had a customer looking for parts for one not long ago. I couldn't find a Yale dealer who could even look up a part for it. Time to junk it.

If that has the hydraulic pump driven by fan belts and the distributor on the side then I'm pretty sure it's a Chrysler IND30 which is a flat head motor.

OK, it's starting to come back to me (I worked at a Yale dealer in the '70s). KG51 was a 6 volt system lift. The G51 was a 12 volt that came out in the mid '60s so KG had to be very early '60s or before. I'm can't remember what they looked like but something tells me it is simular to the G51. Do you know what motor is in it? I've got pics and a book for a 1968 G51.

It's gas converted to lpg. "but maybe the real old Yale gas models started with a K. "I think so.

Is that a gas or electric? G51P and G51C were popular Yale models. K was used in the electric models, but maybe the real old Yale gas models started with a K.

Fact of the week
The two internal cavities in our nose called nostrils function as separate organs. Each nostril has its own set of turbinates and olfactory receptors. The two independent organs work together through a mechanism called the nasal cycle, where one nostril is dominant for air intake while the other rests and is better at detecting scents.
