Hello all
I am new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me with info. I am looking at a Yale forklift to buy for my shop. I want to know if anyone can help me with the model # it is L83F100SBSC83 I am pretty sure that is the model # but the tag is somewhat wore. I am guessing the 83 is the year? The machine is LP and it has cushion tires. I am shopping for a forklift and think this may be the one. Any info would be appreciated such as engine make it is a slant 6, is it to old to get parts are they very expensive. I know this somewhat vague questions but looking for info. Thanks mike

Thanks for the info I will use it to the best. The machine dosent look all that bad, it does have cushion tires on it. I hope the price the guy is asking is in the ball park. I need a forklift that will lift 10,000 at least and am having a hard time finding one believe it or not by Chicago without paying a small fortune. Thanks I will be back.
Yes parts will be hard to find on any unit that is 30+ years old - if the are hard to find they probably will not be reasonable in price & it may take time get them or find them.
83" is the height of the truck with the mast lowered. The model year is probably older than that. Chrysler slant six 225 engine which is very simular to the car engine used in the 60's and 70's. That may be a L83P model which is pneumatic tires. L83C would be cushion tires.
