Hi I have just purchased an old Yale forklift which I think was built in the late 1970's. The model is a DPAFS1AT40-93 serial number W3700228, can anyone tell me anything about it. Ie when it was built and if spare can still be got for it. I need a new throttle cable, park brake cable

hello Im still trying to find a manual YALE said My serial number does not exist.. A YALE DP51. serial Number 250.
When I first started working for Yale my fellow engineers told me that the DP51 came into production in 1951. They had a fluid fly wheel coupled to a mechanical clutch plate and pressure plate with 2 forward and 2 reverse gears and stick shift.
Regards Nero
Recheck the serial number. It should be 1 letter and 6 numbers. I have never seen an older Yale with 7 numbers.
no i still do not recognize that as any yale model number i've ever seen.
My only suggestion is to contact a yale tech friend or maybe a dealer or even yale themselves and see if they would spend some time helping you.
I have no clue what it is from that information
Hi Ive searched the net and seen another one the same here in the UK and its listed as a DP51 model. Is this something you recognise. Im desperate to get my hands on a parts and service book.
The brakes aren't working and don't know how they work - any ideas/.
are you certain about that model number?
that does not look like any Yale model number i've ever seen.
And on those older models the serial numbers usually started with an N not a W.
Unless they had a different model and serial number designation on that side of the pond ;o)
I've just never seen anything like that before :o)
