Hyster E60XL:
WIRE DIAGRAM NEEDED E60XL-MIL

Need a wire diagram for E60XL-MIL NSN 3930-01-223-8436, We have had Five people come out and try to fix the unit...(new battery and changer and still the forklift does not move). The Fork move up and down left to right, wheels move if you manually push in the contacts. But you cannot drive the unit. any help would be great or a wire diagram!!

Thanks, Got it working, but one of the back wheels was stuck and now is squeeking. Can these be greased without removing the wheel? Also, in order to start the hydraulic pump, I have to jiggle the fork elevation lever while turning the "ignition" on.

Thanks everyone for the comments. We have fixed the problem, it was the wiring. It seems the some wires were connected in the wrong place.

Thanks!

you should be able to download a manual for the controller system from the flight systems web site [fsip dot biz, NOT.com] that will give you the expected inputs to check for your controller system.

"it's not rocket surgery"
Is the logic card in the rear of the forklift? I see a card there at the upper right held in by rusty metric screws. Where can I buy the manuals? I found a MIL manual earlier, but it is not very detailed. Thanks, Tom

me thinks (just a guess) you have a 'pre-lx' version of an ev100 controller (no codes, no shielded dash wires to a 'z' plug for the hands set, the ev100 card will have plastic windows and trim pots behind the windows),
we will first need you to tell us the voltages, [with respect to battery neg]. on all 6 of the wires that are screwed on to the logics card, first with no one on the seat, then with someone on the seat, then in each stage as you try and drive (key on, direction selected, other direction selected) if you don't see wire numbers count the first row as 1,2,3 from the left, on the outer most row first.

ok if this unit only has an hourmeter guage and a battery charge guage (analog) then the only way you are going to find out if there are any codes causing the truck not to run is to get a handset, hook up to the control card and see what is stored in it. Watch it's display and see what code comes up when you try and drive the truck.

So this is an E60XL
no serial number?
ok this truck is pre SEM (SX) controller , probably has the good ole EV100LX system in it.
You can find wiring diagrams on the controller unit on fsip.
But before you dive into that what kind of display does this unit have? Is it just a round guage on the dash? or is it premium display?
Either way when you press the accelerator pedal while on the seat with it in a selected direction it should display some sort of code on the display. The premium display will show the error code and probably have a pict-o-gram icon showing the drive motor. If it is just a BDI guage , those are usually still a multifunction guage and will show the error code while trying to activate the drive.

If the dataplate is missing look on the side of the frame along the battery and see if it is stamped there. Also look around the front cowl and around the fender area. It is usually in one of those places. It will be something like C108VxxxxxA (this is just an example)
