Discussion:
What's the best hydraulic hose?

Who can I contact to buy hose and fittings in bulk...someone that will rent or furnish the machine or crimper to make my own hoses.

I'm in Texarkana, Texas

Parker makes a good product, and there is basically 2 types of hose and fittings.
Crimp style hose/fittings require the purchase of a machine w/ all the dies in addition to the product and;
Reusable fittings w/ cotten cover hose (no machine required).

There are advantages and disadvantages to both, stop in at your local Parker store and talk w/ someone.

We use the reusables because its easier and takes less space. The hose and fittings are alittle larger, alittle more expensive, and some special fittings are not available, but we find it better for us.
