Discussion:
What's happening at Nissan?

Does anyone know what's going on with Nissan in the UK? First Impact jump and no credible dealer wants to take on the product, now it seems that Carrylift are about to do the same!

What will HFT, South Wales and Lift West do now as they'll be the only dealers selling any Nissans?

Sounds like a lot of people making assumptions based on personal opinion rather than facts....!!!!!!

Nissan UK just needs new desks and chairs, since it is not the person who sits in the chair that makes any differences anyway...

To be fair, it's only the Atlet warehouse products that are poor - the counterbalance isnt bad, good second hand hire kit!

Without any dealers, they would have no choice but to go direct, which would conflict with their Atlet company, which is proven to do the business, just look at the press.

Is this the end for Nissan Forklift in the UK? The fact that nobody has a positive word to say about them really does speak volumes!! Just gotta feel sorry for the guys who have been doing the business for them!

The competition must be fielding their databases for Nissan customers and kicking their sales guys out to knock on every door!!!

Nissan product quality poor , parts supply average , no leadership no future. Dealer up north Cam ( shaft } employ 11 staff inc the cleaner. Souths as bad , only 3 dealers selling. Atlet bring em on another LAUGH name from DISNEY LAND cant even make a Powered Pallet Truck that works. Atlet steel spec especially on Ped Product made from MELTED DOWN CHASTITY BELTS. As for TMH best thing they ever did was Sell Direct as they were the only people who understood how they WORKED.

Ouch, looks like Atlet are going to be running the Nissan show! A wiff of Toyota/BT me thinks!

Surely they wouldn't make the same mistake at TMH!!??

wonder how Nissan are doing in other areas seems they are a bit lost in Uk.Unless that's plan to enable change to Atlet. Nissan forklift business to big to just dis aper will be interesting if know one is looking to purchase them. Or take over their dealer network and service work.

Business levals in yorkshire appear to be shared out between
linde and B.T. / Toytown doing the fleet deals , Briggs not at the races yet. Barlow still hanging on to loyal customer base , Forkway picking up the scraps over in Donny area. Impact doing JACK. The area needs NEW BLOOD with only a few salesmen GOT THE GIFT..........

The worst kept secret in the industry it seems... Carrylift are going with Doosan. Who's going to go next? Anyone know what's going on with the remaining dealers down south? More to the point, would anyone want anything to do with them?

Barlow need Hyster or they might as well sell it to Briggs, no chance ref Doosan........ Ive already told you the new DOOSAN Dealer in LANCS and SCOTLAND......... Rushlift cant buy CarryLift cos there is not enough EQUITY left in their hire fleet to do a sale and lease back. Plus Rushlift dont have the cash to buy them from their own balance sheet......... GET WITH THE PROGRAMME.
