Just received 3 new RRE200HCC units.
They have come with what we call "Euro style" battery plugs. The weird ones with the round pins. But these also have a clear vinyl hose - maybe 5/16 - 3/8 O.D. that goes to a blue splitter ( one into two) at the battery plug. The splitter passes through the plug and mates up with a another splitter half , more vinyl hose then carries on under the cab.
Anyone know what this hose is for? It has no wires in it or anything - just a clear flexible vinyl hose???
Dealer guys have no clue, they are here standing up the masts PDI etc. and say they have no contacts at BT to reach out to??
Can anybody help?

Hi
It will be a charger with air agitation. This type of charger is used to cool and agitate the electrolyte. Usually you see these on chargers with larger current output capability in order to cool the cells and agitate the electrolyte during the charge cycle.
Yes Partsguy5, after a lengthy google search it appears to be a system to help cool?? the battery connectors. Particularly on fast charge or opportunity charge systems. It's completely strange to us - never encountered it before. If anyone has any more info I would love to read it.
Thanks all !!
It is a air feed tube.
I believe that some of the newer charges have a blower system that blows air through the hose to blow away any fumes.
If you go to Anderson Power Products web site and search Din connectors you should be able to find the information you are looking for.
Is it a watering system connector?
